2007 IWSF Worlds Final Results

Dan Nott brings a medal home in Open Mens at the 2007 IWSF Worlds in Qatar.
The final day of the 2007 IWSF Wakeboard Worlds started with Brits Marc
Rossiter, Dan Nott competing in Open Men's Semis and Nick Davies riding in the Junior Mens
Semis.
All three riders made it into their respective finals with Marc going through in
his heat with Canadian Chad Sharpe and Kiwi Jeff Weatherall.
Dan Nott progressed from his heat along with American Andrew Adkison and Australian Dean Smith. In Junior Mens Nick Davies qualified for the final with Australians Mitchel Langfield and Jarrod Askew.
In the Open Men Final team GB Dan Nott and Marc Rossiter rode for their country and placed 3rd and 4th respectively.
Dan made it onto the podium closely behind Dean Smith from Australia in bronze and Andrew Adkinson from the US in Gold.
In the Junior Mens Final Nick Davies was pipped into fourth by Robert Soven of the USA with Mitchel Lanfield in first and Nikita Martianov from Russia in 2nd.
Congratulations to all the riders who made the trip out to Qatar and competed on behalf of the UK. Also, special thanks to the Wakeboard UK team organisors, coaches and supporting riders and their families for assisting the team riders to compete.
