The water and weather conditions were superb at the recent Ryan Birch Memorial Event held on 13 September 2008. The event proved to be very emotional for all concerned and provided a great way for those who attended to show their respects.
So the end is here all the hard work is over. White Rose waterski club in Elland near Brighouse were the fantastic host site for this 6th and final stop. Over the course of the season we have seen over 70 people compete in 8 divisions and what a tour it has been.

Nicola Butler just keeps on winning competitions and has completed an amazing 2008 season by winning the WWA World's Pro Women Finals beating Dallas Friday into 2nd and Melissa Marquardt into 3rd.

This coming weekend, 13th September 2008, sees the Tony and Ryan Birch Memorial Event being held at Chasewater, Staffs. Entry forms are online and the divisions include Groms, Girls, Boys, Junior Men and Junior Women.

This will be an all day event with evening party, it will have live music all day with trade stalls. The event is sponsored by Relentless and the party by Corona.

Thanks to some demon texting from Nick in France we know that Stew and Shaun went thru to Masters Finals. Dan, Marc, Sam made it thru to the finals of Open Men. Fred, Sam, Jorge went thru to the Boys Finals. Also, Nick and James Young made it into the finals in Junior Men.
