Ropes & Wires - Boat Team & Cable Event

A brand new event and a brand new competition format. On October 3rd Box End will be hosting "Ropes & Wires" a team based Cable and Boat event.

The Format:
Each team of 4 riders will get 15 minutes with the cable tow to themselves - Just get in as many tricks as possible – the more unique tricks each rider does, the more points they will score – if you fall just run back to the start and get back on! At the end of the session the points from all riders will be added together. Each team of 4 riders will then get 20 Minutes on the X-Star. Again points will be scored for unique tricks and then all riders points will be added together at the end.

The Rewards:
The team with the most combined points wins £1000 and each rider will get an exclusive custom painted Board!!! There will be prizes for the winners of all other categories.

Cost:
The cost for the competition is £30 per person which will include a warm up session on the cable, your exclusive competition time on the cable and your boat set!

Categories:
• Pro (Your team will be considered pro if any member of the team has 7 inverts down on the cable)
• Ladies (All riders must be female – no mixed teams for this category
• Youth (16 or under)
• Masters (All team riders over 35)
• Open (for all teams which don’t fall into one of the above categories!)

How  to Enter
To enter just complete an application form which can be collected from Reception or downloaded from www.boxendpark.com and submit  before Wednesday 30th September. Your team captain will be informed of the teams riding times on both the cable and the boat – it is their responsibility to get all riders  ready on the dock 15 minutes before the start  time!

The cable will be open from 08:00 - 09:00 for warm up riding. There will be camping available on Saturday night  for £5 per person and the boat house bar will be open from 19:00 - 00:00 on Saturday  night. On Sunday 08:00 - 10:00 we will be running a Skate freeride session open to all skaters. £20  for  two hours  (members free) with prizes for outstanding riding.
